About Stan Lee

Stan Lee was born on December 28, 1922 in Manhattan, New York. He was an American comic book writer, publisher, and producer. Throughout his early years he cocreated many popular fictional characters such as Spider-man, the X-men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man. However, in early 2017, he announced that he had pneumonia and later that year, on November 12, 2017, Stan Lee passed away and was rushed to the hospital. His reported cause of death was cardiac arrest, respiratory faliure and congestive heart faliure. Stan Lee featured in many movies before his death. Those movies were Iron Man 1, 2, and 3, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame.
